My path as an artist started as a young child, always loving to make things. I took art classes at the Brooklyn Museum with my mother from ages 3–10. Then I went into Manhattan every Saturday from age 12–18 with my good friend to visit the Museum of Modern Art, The Whitney, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art—every Saturday. I was an Arts & Crafts counselor for years at a summer camp and teenage Arts camp. Went on to earn a BFA, an MA, and an MFA in Painting and Art History. Been teaching art at three museums (MFA, Worcester Art Museum, and Danforth starting in 1974. Have run International Art Workshops since 1999 and run the Artist Loft on the Oceania Cruise Line 2x a year since 2012.

I’ve been painting 4 days a week for 40+ years!

I came to Fountain Street Fine Art when Cherie Clinton got in touch with me when she and Marie Craig were thinking of starting a gallery in Framingham. I joined them and became a Core Member. I had 4 Solo shows in Framingham—they were very large—took up the whole gallery.

Well—that’s it!
