ON EXHIBIT Fountain Street Fine Art in Framingham will host its tenth juried show, “Divergent Thinking,” from Jan. 5 through 29. The public is invited to an opening reception on Saturday, Jan. 7, from 5 to 7 p.m. The title, “Divergent Thinking,” refers to the idea of the creative process as allowing thinking to occur in a spontaneous, free-flowing, non-linear manner, so that many ideas are generated in a very short time. Keeping this concept in mind, artists were invited to submit their most outrageously innovative work in any medium. Juror Jane Young of Chase Young Gallery in Boston chose 36 pieces by 34 artists for the exhibit. Fountain Street Fine Art is located at 59 Fountain St., Framingham.
