New Leadership This Spring

Our gallery just turned 6 years old in February. In that time Co-Directors Cherie Clinton and Marie Craig have worked together to develop a vibrant art community. Recently Cherie decided to step down from her leadership role in order to spend more time in her studio and with her family. While it took us by surprise at first we recognize what a huge time commitment is required to run the Gallery.

Cherie and Marie planted, watered, and nurtured the seeds of Fountain Street Fine Art . As Cherie now takes a step back,  the energy that she has committed over the last six years has set the stage to propel FSFA forward as it grows and evolves in the future. We are all so happy that Cherie will remain involved the gallery as a core artist and will continue to participate in shows and gallery activities.

Marie will become the Gallery Director and is pleased to announce that core artist Tatiana Flis will serve as gallery Assistant Director. Tatiana is multi-talented, a phenomenal artist who also has strong skills in marketing and management. She brings a fresh perspective and new energy, and is a delight to work with.

Marie: "As much as I will miss her, I'm excited for Cherie to be embarking on new adventures. I'm really proud of what we've accomplished together, and am looking forward to being a part of the gallery's continued growth."

Below Tatiana talks about the direction she sees the gallery moving in the future.

Tatiana: "I am excited to announce that I will be joining Fountain Street Fine Art as an Assistant Director, helping in forwarding its mission to present and promote fresh, local, contemporary artists. I believe that my unique skill-set will help with streamlining operations, while expanding our marketing and sales reach to a wider audience throughout the Boston area and beyond.

As a core member myself, I am looking forward to interacting with the other members who, on a daily basis, show their dedication to the gallery and its mission. I am eager to begin working with Marie in this capacity, and am looking forward to help guide FSFA into its next stages of growth."
