“I joined Fountain Street Gallery as an Annex member in 2018 on the recommendation of Joseph Fontinha, a good friend, fellow artist/teacher, and long-term FSG core member. Joining Fountain Street, at that time, meant I was sure to hang some of my work in SOWA, which, as a life long resident of Boston, had been one of my primary goals as an artist. At the time, I didn’t see much further beyond that one show, nor did I realize how special Fountain Street Gallery was.
Since then, I have been accepted as a core member, met many other artists, and have come to appreciate the wide array of styles, techniques, ideas, and experience of all the various members. Fountain Street truly is a unique place comprised of very unique individuals. Each artist is so very different than from the next. Playing my own unique part in this dynamic group of artists is something I’m very proud of.”
