IN PLACE, which displays a variety of each artist’s work, including mixed media, installation, painting, and sculpture, centers on the notion of “home.” Shea and Cross’s work carry similar themes of femininity, beauty, and nostalgia, while walking the line between feelings of innocence and a more ominous narrative.
